Tracie MurrayAfter a one-hour social hour, the meeting began with PP TRACIE MURRAY ringing the bell as her last official duty.  To start the program, all past presidents present were asked to stand and the tribute to Dennis started with a video showing current Club members.

Arly Marley and Laura GriswaldNewly Installed District Governor ARLEY MARLEY recognized the estate of former member BRUCE CANN and presented an award to Laura Griswald, who stated: “Bruce’s mission was to leave a legacy to Rotary because he was devoted to a worthy cause.”

MARLENE COWAN presented DENNIS with a copy of the 38 articles she wrote about Rotary to the Town Crier.

The Guy Shoup Clock Award was presented to MATT CABOT as Rotarian of the Year because as web master he kept us informed during this year as in many years prior.

PE JOHN SYLVESTER was presented with his official pin for being the president-elect and said he was looking forward to a wonderful year.

PP Tracie Murray Pins Dennis Young with PP PinPP DENNIS YOUNG was pinned by TRACIE with the past president’s pin and DENNIS commented, “We had a good year. How many times can you say thank you. The members proved that we are the greatest 2010-2011 LARC Board of DirectorsRotary Club in the World. All our members were a vital part of the Club”

After pictures of the 2010 -2011 officers and directors, the direction was turned to the new regime for 2011- 2012 with MONA ARMISTEAD as our new president.

New board members for 2011-2012Dennis Young pins Mona Arminstead as new LARC PresidentDENNIS then gave the GUY SHOUP president’s pin to PP MONA ARMISTEAD.  MONA then introduced her new directors for the coming year and after pictures of the new officers and directors she hit the club bell used for 60 years and the meeting was adjourned.
