Meetings
The Los Altos Rotary Club meetings are held at
12:15 on Thursdays at the Garden House in Shoup Park, Los Altos.
The Mountain View High School Interact Club meetings are held on Tuesdays at 11:45 a.m. at Mountain View High School.
The Los Altos High School Interact Club meetings are held on Thursdays at 11:30 a.m. at Los Altos High School.
Directions to Rotary Club meeting:
From Interstate 280, take the El Monte Road turnoff and head toward the bay. Turn
left at University Avenue, which is the last signal before the Foothill
Expressway intersection. Continue on University Avenue for about
a half mile. There is a small sign for Shoup Park on the left
side of the street. Make a left turn onto the driveway by the
sign and Garden House is located at the end of the parking lot.
From Highway 101, take the San Antonio Road turnoff and head toward
the foothills. Continue on San Antonio Road until you reach downtown
Los Altos. Make a right turn onto Main Street (this is a three-way
intersection, and if you make a sharp right turn you will be
on Edith Avenue) and continue through the downtown area to the
Foothill Expressway. Turn left just after the Expressway onto
University Avenue and continue for about 100 yards until you
see a sign that says "Shoup Park." Turn right onto
the small driveway to the park. Garden House is located at the
end of the parking lot.
Alternatively, you can go up Main Street and
cross Foothill Expressway. At that point Main Street turns into Burke.
Make an immediate left after the Expressway and you will be on University.
Go about 2 blocks until you see the Shoup Park entrance sign on your right if
coming from Main street (400 University Avenue). If you are early,
you probably can park down by the park. But the parking lot is small, and most
people park up on University. We meet at the Garden House pictured
above.
